Celtic fans are united in assessment of magical Ibrox memory

Celtic fans consider beating Rangers 5-1 at Ibrox the highlight of their 69 game unbeaten run.

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers is seen during the Ladbrokes Scottish Premiership match between Celtic and Motherwell at Celtic Park on December 2, 2017 in Glasgow, Scotland.

Celtic's amazing unbeaten run in domestic competition came to an end at the weekend after 69 games.

They picked up four trophies during this span - but one game in particular stands out.

Discussing their favourite matches from the record setting run, Celtic fans were quick to hail the 5-1 away win at Ibrox over rivals Rangers earlier in 2017.

The result was so sweet because it came against the 'relaunched Rangers', who were hoping for a fresh start under new boss Pedro Caixinha.

Rangers had lost 5-1 at Celtic earlier in the season, and talk was beginning to build of revenge, and a huge opportunity for the Gers to snap Celtic's unbeaten run.

Rangers manager Pedro Caixinha is seen prior to the Betfred League Cup Quarter Final at Firhill Stadium on September 19, 2017 in Glasgow, Scotland.

Instead Celtic inflicted a painful defeat on Rangers, with Scott Sinclair's seventh minute goal leading a five goal blitz before the home side scored a consolation.

Celtic play Rangers at the end of this month, and fans would love to have another 5-1 hammering to celebrate as they look to put together another unbeaten run.
