Everton play host to Swansea City in the Premier League tomorrow night.

Toffees manager Sam Allardyce addressed the media on Friday, ahead of his side’s clash with Swansea City tomorrow night, and opened up on the message he has been giving to his players in the build up to the game, as quoted by BT Sport.

Everton are on a fantastic run in the Premier League, having taken 10 points from their last four outings – a run that has seen them climb to 10th in the table, and things are all of a sudden starting to look a whole lot rosier at Goodison Park.

Allardyce has worked wonders during his short-time in charge of the Blues, and with the 63-year-old now at the helm, a top seven finish seems like a very real possibility.

The former West Ham, Bolton and Newcastle boss addressed the media during his pre-match press conference on Friday, and highlighted how he will ensure that his players do not become complacent after their fine recent run of form, as quoted by BT Sport:

“I’m not expecting any complacency. It is my big word to the players – that this will not be an easy task, it will be a difficult task, as always, and don’t slip up against a side everybody expects you to beat. You will only get the opportunity to beat them if you play 100 per cent to your level, which is what we have had to do certainly in the last four games we have played.”

Allardyce’s men can move up to ninth in the table with a win tomorrow night, and that would represent quite the turnaround from just a few weeks ago when they were nervously looking over their shoulders.
