Leeds United scored from another set piece on Saturday afternoon.

Leeds United manager Thomas Christiansen has told Leeds Live that he thinks Gianni Vio is a major reason for the club’s potency from set pieces.
The Whites beat Norwich City 1-0 on Saturday afternoon, with Pontus Jansson notching the winning goal in a vital win for Christiansen’s side.
After beating QPR last weekend, it was back to Elland Road this time, and Jansson’s winner handed Leeds their third win in four games as they overcome a sticky spell.

Leeds now lie just one point off the play-offs, and with the busy festive period on the horizon, the Whites are in strong form right now.
Jansson’s headed winner against Norwich was his second goal in as many games, with both coming from set pieces as the Whites reap the rewards of dead balls.
Back in November, Leeds moved to appoint Italian Gianni Vio to Christiansen’s staff, bringing in the former AC Milan coach as a set piece specialist.
With Jansson now emerging as a goal threat, Vio’s influence appears to be shining through – and manager Christiansen has now hailed his impact.

Christiansen has told Leeds Live that he thinks Vio is one of the very best in his field, and hopes the fine form from set pieces continues thanks to his knowledge.
“Well, I believe he’s one of the best, as I said, in his job and this is why we brought him here but also it takes time for the players to adapt to a new coach, a new system and also the new set pieces.”
“How they have to stay, how they have to defend, the movements, all these things need it’s time and last week or last home game we scored one on set pieces, today we scored another one and we hope it continues next week,” he added.
