Baggies ace Jonny Evans spoke to reporters following his side’s bitterly disappointing defeat to Swansea City on Saturday, and opened up on what Alan Pardew told his players in the dressing room at the Liberty Stadium, as quoted by the Express & Star.

West Brom are in all sorts of trouble, and currently sit precariously in 17th position in the Premier League table, ahead of 18 placed West Ham United purely because of a superior goal difference.

Evans, though, explained how it is only a matter of time before the former Newcastle United, Crystal Palace and West Ham boss turns things around at West Brom.

“It’ll take time, work on the training field. He’ll make sure we’re well drilled and will build our confidence by doing things over and over again. The confidence will come and results will pick up. The manager said after the game to keep our heads up, make sure this week in training we’ll try and work on our attacking play especially.”

Next up for West Brom is a huge game away at Liverpool on Wednesday night, and Pardew’s men will have to be extremely organised and resolute, if they are to have any chance of leaving Anfield with something to show for their efforts.
