Mile Jedinak has been absent from action for Aston Villa recently.

Villa boss Steve Bruce addressed the media in the aftermath of his side’s disappointing 0-0 draw with Millwall at Villa Park yesterday, and provided an injury update on the currently crocked Mile Jedinak, as quoted by the club’s official website.
The 33-year-old is a key player for the Villans, what with his physicality and experience, and Bruce’s men have really missed the big Australian since he injured his shoulder during Villa’s win over Ipswich Town at the end of last month.
Villa currently sit in fifth position in the Championship table, and with the hectic Christmas period just around the corner, the Villans faithful will be desperate to see Jedinak back involved with the first-team as soon as possible.

And Bruce provided an update on the defensive midfielder, when speaking to reporters yesterday, as quoted by AVFC.co.uk:

“Jedinak has trained again this morning with some physicality. He could make an entrance, which would be good to see.”
Next up for the west midlands outfit is a trip to Derby, and that will be no easy task.
With Gary Rowett’s Rams side currently firing on all cylinders, and ahead of Villa in the table by a place and a point, Bruce will be hoping that Jedinak is fit and available for selection, as he looks to guide his side to an away win against their direct rivals.
