Matt Smith played for Queens Park Rangers against his former club Leeds United at Loftus Road in the Championship this afternoon.

Queens Park Rangers and Leeds United fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Matt Smith.

Smith featured for QPR in the Championship game against his former club Leeds at Loftus Road on Saturday afternoon.

The 28-year-old striker started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, as Rangers lost 3-1.

After a goalless first half, Kemar Roofe put Leeds in the lead on 63 minutes, and added the second just five minutes later.

QPR halved the deficit through Pawel Wszolek on 90 minutes, but Roofe completed his hat-trick just minutes later.

QPR signed Smith from Fulham in January 2017 for a transfer fee reported by The London Evening Standard to be worth £500,000.

Fulham signed Smith from Leeds in the summer of 2014 for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £500,000.
