The winger has been underwhelming for West Ham so far.
Despite showing some tantalising glimpses of his undoubted quality while at Stoke City, Marko Arnautovic has been unable to make much of an impact since joining West Ham United in the summer.
The winger has yet to score or provide an assist in his eleven Premier League appearances for West Ham, with his most significant action being sent off in the defeat to Southampton early in the campaign.
Arnautovic firstly faces a battle to get back into the West Ham starting lineup, with manager David Moyes assessing the various options that are available to him.
Although there were some encouraging signs with regards to the team's organisation in the first half of the defeat to Manchester City last weekend, West Ham are still seeking their first win under Moyes and have a difficult upcoming schedule which includes games against Chelsea and Arsenal.
West Ham need inspiration and quickly. Arnautovic, when he is switched on, is capable of providing the spark that his side need with his pace, flair and directness.
Moyes can be the right manager to get the best out of Arnautovic in terms of getting the Austrian to be more disciplined and slightly more of a team player.
The West Ham manager is known for wanting his players to work extremely hard and if he can convince Arnautovic to buy in to that philosophy then it would be hugely beneficial for the club in their quest to avoid relegation.
