David Stockdale's performance for Birmingham City against Wolverhampton Wanderers has got some Leeds United supporters wondering what might have been.
Stockdale, who hails from Leeds and is a lifelong Whites supporter, became one of the summer's most sought-after free agents when he decided to leave Brighton & Hove Albion despite the Seagulls' promotion to the Premier League.
Leeds' name was listed among those keen, but it was Birmingham who won the race to sign the 32-year-old.
The Whites instead turned to Felix Wiedwald and Andy Lonergan to fill their goalkeeping void, although some doubts remain over the pair's ability.
And Stockdale's heroics during Monday's West Midlands derby at St Andrew's - which league leaders Wolves won 1-0 thanks to Leo Bonatini's early striker - had the Elland Road faithful talking once more.
Here's what they've been saying...
Stockdale making a number of fabulous saves. Why didn't we sign him? On a free! #lufc— Keith Tracy (@KeithT3103) 4 December 2017

Big mistake on Leeds' part not trying to sign him over the summer.
Imagine the wages 'Arry will have got him on. No chance.— Rob Conlon (@RobConlon25) 4 December 2017
Think we did JM. He's got a huge package— Dr.T (@DoctorT1992) 4 December 2017
I still think it's too early to write Felix off after a few mistakes. Is Stockdale the kind of Gk to play out from the back?— Samuel Bepys (@SamuelBepys) 4 December 2017
Equally bad move for him to go from prem to relegation scrap in championship— Ron (@ronaallleeds) 4 December 2017
Leeds want to sign players on league 1 wages— langers_i_am (@optimuslangers) 4 December 2017
Birmingham's defeat left them inside third from bottom in the Championship, 14 places and as many points behind play-off chasing Leeds.
Would Leeds be higher up the table with Stockdale in goal?
