The Sevilla ace is reportedly wanted by Arsenal, Everton and Juventus.

A report emanating from Italy today suggest that the Gunners have entered the race to sign Sevilla ace Steven N’Zonzi, according to Italian media outlet Calcio Mercato.
Arsenal fans have been pleading with Arsene Wenger to sign someone in the mould of club legend Patrick Vieira for the past decade, but to no avail.
The 6ft 4in Frenchman would fit the bill perfectly at the Emirates, what with his powerful frame, and incredible engine that enables him to fulfil the box-to-box role with aplomb.

Calcio Mercato claim that the north London side could be tempted to activate the €40 million (£35.2 million) release clause in N’Zonzi’s contract, although they will face stiff competition from both Everton and Juventus.

The Gunners currently sit in fifth position in the Premier League table, 15 points adrift of Pep Guardiola’s rampant Manchester City side, and the potential signing fo N’Zonzi would undoubtedly strengthen them to the point where they could affect the outcome of the title race.
With the opening of the January transfer window just around the corner, this will certainly be one for Arsenal fans to keep an eye on, and who knows, they might finally get what they have been craving for the past 12 years.
