The Liverpool defender was brilliant against Brighton and Hove Albion.
When Liverpool signed Andrew Robertson from Hull City last summer, he was expected to make an immediate impact at Anfield.
However, the 23-year-old has barely featured, with the previously criticised Alberto Moreno finding a new lease of life under Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp and his younger teammate having to make do with just three appearances prior to the weekend clash against Brighton and Hove Albion.
Yet Robertson's performance against the Seagulls suggests he could be about to show Reds fans exactly what he is capable of, and that could be very bad news for Moreno.
Robertson was outstanding for Liverpool in their 5-1 victory on Saturday, doing everything right at both ends of the pitch and suggesting he has everything in his locker to become integral at Anfield in the years ahead.
He may have arrived at Liverpool expecting to get far more game time, but he has not let the disappointment of being a bit-part player impact the performances he has been granted.
In fact, it could be argued that he has channelled any frustration brilliantly and Klopp will find it hardtop leave him out for the upcoming matches.
Liverpool have another gem on their hands and Klopp should be commended for that.
