The Sevilla ace is a reported transfer target for Everton, but Liverpool should gatecrash the party.

Reds boss Jürgen Klopp will surely be looking to strengthen his options in January, as he looks to keep his side competitive on all fronts this season.
One particular area of concern for the German will be his central midfield department, with Emre Can’s future at Liverpool far from certain.
With this in mind, the addition of an established midfield destroyer will surely feature highly on Klopp’s agenda, and he should consider challenging Everton for the signature of Steven N’Zonzi in January, with the Daily Mail claiming that the Toffees are lining up a £25 million offer for the 28-year-old.

The Frenchman joined Sevilla from Stoke City in the summer of 2015, for a fee believed to be in the region of £7 million, and he has since gone on to establish himself as one of the continent’s best midfield players in the specific role that he deploys.
N’Zonzi would be a fantastic addition to the Reds’ midfield. Standing at 6ft 4in tall, he would bring a certain level of physicality to the Liverpool side that they currently lack.
Sevilla’s Steven N’Zonzi
The former Blackburn Rovers and Stoke man possesses incredible energy levels, and the box-to-box nature in which he operates would be ideally suited to the high intensity playing style that Klopp likes to implement at Anfield.
For just £25 million, he would be an absolute steal for Liverpool, and if they manage to sign him, they would deal a major blow to their arch rivals in the process.
