Leeds United fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to Pablo Hernandez’s recent comments about his future.
Hernandez, who can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a winger, has said that he is happy at Leeds.
The 32-year-old Spanish attacker joined the Whites on a six-month loan deal from Al-Arabi in the summer of 2016 when Garry Monk was in charge of the West Yorkshire outfit, and made the move permanent in January 2017.
The former Valencia and Swansea City attacking midfielder put pen to paper on a new one-year contract in the summer of 2017.
“I have had small talks with the club, I am happy here and the club know this,” Hernandez told The Yorkshire Evening Post when asked about his future. “They are happy with me."
Leeds fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to Hernandez’s recent comments about his future - most of them want club chairman Andrea Radrizzani to hand him a new contract.
The West Yorkshire outfit will return to action this evening when they take on Steve Bruce’s Aston Villa at Elland Road in the Championship.

Needs a new deal. He’s a terrific player to have— Dom R (@dommer14) 30 November 2017
I see no reason to offer him a new one if the club wants to move forward— G (@edwardsg309) 30 November 2017
Hmmmm ....... Isn't that similar to what Monk was saying when asked about his contract through Feb and March last year?— Andy (@andy66gillett) 30 November 2017
Still got a couple of years in him at this level. Even if the second year's as a sub.— Samuel Bepys (@SamuelBepys) 30 November 2017
