With new manager Sam Allardyce watching on, Everton blew David Moyes' West Ham to pieces, winning 4-0 at Goodison Park. Who performed best?

Goalkeeper: Jordan Pickford - 8/10

A really solid performance. Dominated his area well. Made a superb stop from West Ham's penalty at a moment when a goal for the Hammers would have turned the game around.

Right-back: Jonjoe Kenny - 8/10

Looked much more positive than he has in a while. Moved up and down the right-flank with ease, always offered width and defended well when asked. Created Everton's second goal with a great run and cross.

Centre-back: Mason Holgate - 6/10

Solid enough under pressure (not that there was much), although somewhat rusty with the ball at his feet.

Ashley Williams of Everton scores his sides fourth goal during the Premier League match between Everton and West Ham United at Goodison Park on November 29, 2017 in Liverpool, England.

Centre-back: Ashley Williams - 7/10

A decent defensive performance overall despite one big flaw. Gave away a penalty with a senseless tackle, but balanced that out by scoring Everton's fourth goal with a superb header.

Left-back: Cuco Martina - 5/10

Was surprisingly decent. Obviously not excellent, but far from the liability he can be.

Defensive midfield: Idrissa Gueye - 7/10

Performed a solid and unspectacular job protecting his defence and preventing West Ham attacks from forming. Kept the ball moving with 93% pass completion.

Central midfield: Wayne Rooney - 9/10

An absolutely monstrous performance from the Everton captain. Worked tirelessly as a defensive force and repeatedly initialised attacks from the base of midfield.

And then there's the goals: his penalty was poor but he took the rebound well, his second goal showed great timing and his third was a masterpiece of a long-range hit, striking the ball from inside his own half to fly over West Ham defenders into the back of the net.

Attacking midfield: Tom Davies - 6/10

Ran forward repeatedly, creating space for Wayne Rooney to orchestrate from deep.

Attacking midfield: Gylfi Sigurdsson - 7/10

Constantly creating danger from set-pieces. Also played a key role in the first goal. Looked much more comfortable with Everton actually moving the ball nicely.

Right-wing: Aaron Lennon - 6/10

A bright performance from the winger.

Striker: Dominic Calvert-Lewin - 8/10

Persistent run to win the penalty. In fact persistence defined his evening. Didn't get too many opportunities but worked so hard for the team. His contributions to the first and third goals were immense.
