Marco Silva has been doing a fantastic job at Watford this season, and the Portuguese has been targeted by Everton to fill their vacant managerial position.
Watford have maintained their stance that they will not part ways with their manager, despite temptations dangled before them.
Ahead of Watford’s Premier League clash against Manchester United, when Silva was asked about the Everton speculation, he refused to talk about the situation.
Silva, 40, said that he was only focusing on the upcoming game, and that he was not concerned with the vacant job at the Merseyside club.
"The position is not open, there is someone doing the job [caretaker boss David Unsworth]," said Silva, as quoted by Sky Sports.
"It is not the moment to talk about the situation but I am still here with 100 per cent focus to talk about the match tomorrow.
However, Silva did concede that he may move away from Vicarage Road in the future, provided he continues to prosper.
From Silva’s comment it is quite clear that he is not taking the speculation too seriously, and that he is ready to bide his time for better opportunity.
