Ian Baraclough has advice for Rangers target Louis Moult

Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers and Queens Park Rangers have been linked with Motherwell striker Louis Moult.

Former Motherwell manager Ian Baraclough has told The Scottish Sun that reported Rangers and Queens Park Rangers target Louis Moult should join a club where he can play regularly.

Motherwell striker Moult is one of the best players in the Scottish Premiership and has been linked with moves to Rangers and QPR.

A report in The Daily Record in October claimed that QPR in the Championship in England and Scottish Premiership side Rangers are interested in the former Stoke City striker.

Rangers fans were impressed with the performance of Moult for Motherwell against Celtic in the final of the Scottish League Cup at Hampden Park in Glasgow at the weekend and want the Ibrox outfit to sign him up, as reported on HITC Sport (click here to read more).

The former Wrexham striker has been on the books of Motherwell since 2015 and is out of contract at the Scottish Premiership club next summer.

Former Motherwell manager Baraclough, who is now in charge of the Northern Ireland Under-21 side, has suggested that Moult should join a club where he can play regularly. Baraclough worked with Moult at Motherwell.

“If he moves, I just hope he goes somewhere he’s going to play,” Baraclough told The Scottish Sun about Moult.

“There are clubs in the Championship where he could pick up a great wage but be third- or fourth-choice striker.

“I don’t think that’s going to do him any good. He should be going somewhere he’d be a first or second-choice striker.”
