Austin featured for Southampton in the Premier League game against Everton at St. Mary’s Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
The 28-year-old forward scored twice for the Saints, as they got the better of Everton 4-1 at home.
The former Burnley star has struggled with injuries during his time at Southampton so far and is also not guaranteed a place in the starting lineup.
Austin has scored three goals in one start in the Premier League so far this season.

Southampton paid QPR a transfer fee of £4 million in January 2016 in order to secure the services of Austin, as reported by The Guardian.
QPR fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to Austin’s heroics for Southampton against Everton at the weekend – they have suggested that the forward should start more often.

he can get bigger clubs than QPR he wouldn’t come back— TONY HAWKES (@Tipton21) November 26, 2017
