Megson, who is in charge of West Brom at the moment following the dismissal of Pulis as the first-team manager, has revealed that he spoke to him after the match.
“He was pleased (about the result),” Megson told The Birmingham Mail about speaking to Pulis. “I rang him after the game because I’ve been in his position and the initial week or two when you’re used to being in football all the time and then it’s not there it’s suddenly ‘what do I do?’ I rang him to see how he was, he’s ok.”
West Brom are in danger of getting relegated to the Championship at the end of the season, and the point against Spurs will certainly help.
West Brom will take on Newcastle United at The Hawthorns in the Premier League on Tuesday evening.
