Former West Bromwich Albion manager Tony Pulis would be interested in taking charge of Everton, according to The Sun.

Pulis is without a managerial job at the moment, having recently been sacked by West Brom following a run of poor results in the Premier League.

It has been reported that the Welshman is open to signing a contract with the Toffees until the end of the season.

Everton are on the hunt for a new manager following the departure of Ronald Koeman, with David Unsworth currently in charge of the first team on a temporary basis.

The Merseyside outfit are in danger of getting relegated to the Championship at the moment, although they do have a good squad and should be able to stay up.

Appointing Pulis would be a good short-term appointment for Everton, but in the long term, if they want to progress and challenge for the Champions League places, then they need someone better and with more relevant experience.
