West Ham United put in a vastly improved performance against Leicester City.

Hammers ace Pablo Zabaleta spoke exclusively to the club’s official website, and offered a message of thanks to the West Ham fans for their tremendous support throughout the 90 minutes against Leicester City last night.
The east London outfit looked invigorated against the Foxes for the first time in a long time, especially in the second half, and were driven on tirelessly by the Hammers faithful.
There was an element of passion and spirit that has been absent from the London Stadium in recent times, and the team’s display will have at least given their fans hope that they have enough fight left in them to excavate themselves from the trouble that they are currently in.

And Zabaleta, who joined West Ham in the summer after his contract with Manchester City expired, told WHUFC.com how appreciative he and his teammates are for the support that they received last night:
“We must say ‘Thank you’ to the fans because they were incredible and brilliant during the whole game,” said the right-back. “We know that they probably want to see the team in a better place in the table, I know that, but at least we tried to win the game. They saw the team with a different attitude tonight and, as I said, they were incredible, so thank you for the great support.”

The east London outfit now enter an incredibly difficult period of their campaign, with games against Manchester City, Chelsea and Arsenal on the horizon, and the players will need the Hammers faithful to be at their passionate and supportive best, if they are to stand any chance whatsoever of emerging from the Christmas period unscathed.
