Bridcutt, who joined Forest from Leeds United in the summer transfer window, featured in the Championship game against Norwich at the City Ground on Tuesday evening.
The 28-year-old defensive midfielder started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, as the Reds won 1-0.
Daryl Murphy’s goal in the 77th minute proved to be the difference between the Reds and the Canaries at the City Ground.
Forest fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Bridcutt against Norwich on Tuesday evening.
Belo are some of the best comments:
Never seen someone shoot as bad as Bridcutt leans back so much that he's pretty much on his arse when he shoots #nffc— Cällum (@ManLikeMcKay) November 22, 2017
I see Vaughan & Bridcutt as different players TBH ... Bridcutt’s work off the ball is his strength. Vaughan more of an eye for a creative pass. Can be a good combo in the tighter games.— Stu (@stuuuuu_nffc) November 22, 2017
Completely agree. Vaughan is irreplaceable our key player IMO. Bridcutt bang av wouldn’t be bothered if he was a bone starter wouldn’t miss him at all #nffc— DH (@H0990) November 21, 2017
Am I the only one who struggles to see how Bridcutt starts over Bouch? #nffc— Will (@WilllB39) November 21, 2017
Not sure about the stubbornness shown by MW to not sub bridcutt off. He had an awful game! Don’t think MW likes to change his own players though #NFFC— kyle nequest (@knqst) November 21, 2017
Over the course of the 90 minutes at the City Ground on Tuesday evening, hosts Forest had 53% of the possession, took 11 shots of which six were on target, and earned five corners, according to BBC Sport.
The Reds are just outside of the Championship playoff spots at the moment.
