The England ‘keeper joined West Ham United on loan in the summer.
Hammers on loan stopper Joe Hart has proven to be a divisive character during his short spell at the London Stadium so far, earning rave reviews from some quarters for his first class shot-stopping, whilst receiving criticism from others for his poor positioning and lack of ball dispersion skills.
According to the Daily Star, the 30-year-old will be available for somewhere between £3-6 million, with Pep Guardiola keen to get the England international off of the Manchester City wage bill.
Hart has proven his quality over the years, but has also demonstrated a concerning level of decline recently, so would West Ham be getting a good deal if they signed him for somewhere between the reported £3-6 million that the Citizens expect for his signature?
For argument’s sake, let’s say the 30-year-old goalkeeper is available for £5 million this summer.
Firstly, in today’s day and age, that amount represents an incredible bargain, in what has become a ludicrously inflated transfer market.
And secondly, the opportunity to bring a player who has 75 international caps to his name, and two Premier League titles to show for his efforts, is one that the east London outfit cannot afford to miss out on.
In all truthfulness, Hart has saved the Hammers on more than one occasion this season, and their record of 23 goals conceded in just 11 Premier League outings does not do the Englishman justice.

A lot can happen between now and the end of the season of course, but if West Ham manage to avoid relegation and finish somewhere near mid-table, there is no reason why they could not convince the 75-capped England international to join them on a permanent basis.
And for somewhere between £3-6 million, it really would be a coup for the Hammers.
