Everton and Arsenal are both reportedly interested in signing the Besiktas man.

Reports emanating from Turkey today suggest that the Toffees are preparing £13 million bid for Besiktas ace Oguzhan Ozyakup, as they look to beat Arsenal to his signature, according to Turkish media outlet Fotospor.
Everton have begun this season in extremely poor fashion, and currently sit in 16th position in the Premier League table, just three points clear of the relegation zone.
With their current situation looking so bleak, the Blues will surely be looking to strengthen their options during the January transfer window, and reports in the Turkish media claim that they have already identified one of their primary targets.

The 30-capped Turkey international is also a reported transfer target for Arsenal, with the Sun claiming that Arsene Wenger is prepared to spend £10 million on their former player.

The midfielder would certainly find first-team football harder to come by at the Emirates than he would at Goodison Park, and a move to Everton might better serve him in terms of his overall development as a footballer.
