Wolverhampton Wanderers currently sit at the top of the Championship table.
Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo addressed the media in the aftermath of his side’s superb away win at Reading yesterday, and found time to thank the nearly 4,000 away fans who made the journey down from the Black Country to Berkshire to cheer on his team, as quoted by the club’s official website.
The Portuguese’s side have been quite simply sensational this season, and currently sit comfortably top of the Championship table, two points clear of second placed Sheffield United, after their impressive return of 38 points from their opening 17 league games.
Nuno deserves great credit for the manner in which he has managed to galvanise his troops, following their underwhelming campaign last season, and transform them into a really exciting outfit to watch.

The former Valencia and Porto boss sat down for his post-match press conference, and once again offered words of thanks for Wolves’ strong travelling support who made the trip to the Madejski, as quoted by Wolves.co.uk:
“I don’t have more words to say on how thankful we are to the fans – to come to a stadium so many hours away, in the cold and rain. You look to the stands and they are all ours, they’re all Wolves! We are delighted with it and now we go back home knowing that we want that spirit of the wolves – the pack, everybody together.”
Next up for Wolves is a home game against Leeds United on Wednesday night, before they welcome Bolton Wanderers to Molineux the following Saturday, and the home fans will be expecting nothing less than six points from those two outings.
