The Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur stars will face each other on Saturday.

The Gunners play host to bitter rivals Spurs at the Emirates in the Premier League on Saturday, and two of the division’s most creative players will face-off in the vitally important showdown.
The often-maligned Mesut Ozil will be looking to breathe fire back into his side’s faltering title challenge, whilst Christian Eriksen will be hoping to dictate the tempo of the game against Arsenal, and help his side take all three points from the contest.
Both players are undoubtedly highly talented, but which one would you have in your team?

Most people would surely choose the Tottenham star, with the Arsenal ace often criticised for his lack of fight and passion.
Surprisingly, however, considering the criticism he receives, the Germany international tops both the chances created and assist stats since he joined the Gunners in 2013:
| Assists | |
|---|---|
| Mesut Özil | 44 |
| David Silva | 41 |
| Christian Eriksen | 40 |
| Cesc Fàbregas | 38 |
| Kevin De Bruyne | 34 |
| Player | Big Chance Created | Appearances | Mins Played | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Premier League | Mesut Özil | 54 | 125 | 10,560 |
| Premier League | Christian Eriksen | 48 | 145 | 12,152 |
| Premier League | David Silva | 46 | 128 | 10,361 |
| Premier League | Riyad Mahrez | 45 | 114 | 8,837 |
| Premier League | Cesc Fàbregas | 44 | 110 | 7,909 |
| Premier League | Alexis Sánchez | 41 | 111 | 9,162 |
| Premier League | Kevin De Bruyne | 39 | 75 | 5,949 |
Ozil, 29, also leads Eriksen, 25, in the total chances created list, with 376, compared to the Dane’s 361.

It could be argued that the former Real Madrid play-maker has been unfairly criticised during his time in England, although stats alone do not make a player, and have proven to be notoriously misleading in the past.

This weekend’s North London Derby will undoubtedly be a fiercely contested one, and there is a good chance that whoever wins the individual battle out of the German and the Dane will be on the winning side come 14:15 on Saturday afternoon.
