Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal and Southampton are reportedly interested in Manchester City’s Bobby Duncan.

Tottenham Hotspur are interested in Manchester City striker Bobby Duncan, according to The Times.

It has been reported that Tottenham are among a number of clubs chasing the signature of the young striker.

Spurs’ North London rivals, Arsenal, and Southampton are also claimed to be interested in the 16-year-old.

Duncan is a cousin of Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard and scored a late winner for the England Under-17 side in their 3-2 comeback victory over Portugal on Wednesday evening.

The teenager was actually rejected by his hometown club of Liverpool, according to The Times, who also claim that he has yet to sign a professional contract with City.

According to The Times, Duncan “made history in November last year by becoming the first English player at any level to score a hat-trick against Brazil in a 4-3 win for England Under-16”.

City have a very good academy, but the problem is that given the competition for places in the first team, talented and promising young players such as Duncan find it hard to make their way to the senior side.

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino has given chances to young players during his time at Spurs so far.
