Tottenham Hotspur have one of the most exciting young squads in the Premier League.

Spurs legend Graham Roberts took to Twitter today to offer high praise for Mauricio Pochettino, naming the six players who he believes have improved tremendously under the Argentine.

The 45-year-old has worked wonders during his time as Tottenham manager, with his side now considered as genuine challengers for major honours, both home and abroad.

The Lilywhites have garnered a reputation over the past 20 years or so for having a soft underbelly – a notion that has been completely shot to bits since the Argentine’s arrival in north London.

They currently sit in third position in the Premier League table, and although they are eight points adrift of Pep Guardiola’s rampant Manchester City side, they still have a great chance of winning their first league title since 1961.

And Roberts, who made 209 league appearances for Spurs, believes that it is all down to Pochettino’s fine work at the club.

The 58-year-old took to Twitter today, and was effusive in his praise of the Argentine:

As Tottenham continue to grow and evolve as a club, it will be vitally important for them to keep hold of the names mentioned by Roberts, if they stand any chance of turning their potential into major honours.
