Everton are being heavily linked with making a move for Sam Allardyce.

Allardyce has reportedly been linked with a move to Goodison Park, but is said to be struggling to agree terms.
However, Allardyce insists these reports are completely false – as he wouldn’t be on radio if he really was in for the Everton job.

“It’s just not true because I wouldn’t be sat here talking if Everton were negotiating a contract with me,” Allardyce said.
“If that’s true I would be speaking about a contract with Everton. What has been said is complete and utter nonsense.”
Everton sacked Ronald Koeman last month, but they have taken some time to decide upon his successor.

The Toffees are still assessing their options, with plenty of candidates linked to the job.
Allardyce became a heavily odds-on favourite earlier this week, but it seems that he is still some way away from being offered the job at Goodison Park.
Everton are currently in 15th place in the Premier League table, after what has been a highly disappointing campaign so far.
