Reading fans are reacting on Twitter after Aaron Tshibola's career took another hit... and some want to bring him back from Aston Villa.
The Reading academy product left for Villa Park in a £5 million last summer, but has only made 10 appearances to date for the Villans.
A loan to Nottingham Forest couldn't revive Tshibola's fortunes, with the Reds using him on six fewer occasions than Villa.
And his latest temporary spell, at League One Milton Keynes Dons, has since been terminated seven months prematurely.
Robbie Neilson confirmed in his press conference this morning that Aaron Tshibola has returned to @AVFCOfficial.— MK Dons FC (@MKDonsFC) 9 November 2017
The Club would like to wish Aaron all the best for the future.
With his registration still being held by the Dons, Tshibola has entered a period of limbo - unable to play for any other Football League club until January at the earliest.
But some Reading supporters say they would have him back when the transfer window reopens. Others though, aren't quite so convinced.
Here's what they've been saying about the Aston Villa man...
Yes for me!— Chris Squire (@chrisasquire) 9 November 2017
If he is still the player he was when he left, then I'd definitely have a look at him again. Can never have too many strong centre mids.— Anthony Kendrick (@AJKendrick) 9 November 2017
Would anyone take him back at reading? I feel we could make it work for him again— Ollie Broad (@Olliebroad18RFC) 9 November 2017
Not sure he's exactly what Stam sees in a centre mid. But let's get this kid back home to Reading. There's still a potentially good player there.— SD (@SMKD1984) 9 November 2017
After he left, yes. Now? No. Would rather see Evans given some game time— Joe (@JLees14) 9 November 2017
Got much better options at the club and good players coming through who are in the youth ranks— GJ Royal (@GJ_Royal) 9 November 2017
Damaged goods - it’s a no from me.— Helen Bullen (@PAN1F) 9 November 2017
No chance followed the money and paid the price. Read the ratings by the MK fans, they hated him.— Stuart (@StuartFenton17) 9 November 2017
The £5 million we got for Aaron Tshibola is looking brilliant business now. His career really has gone dramatically downhill. Even MK Dons don't want him! #readingfc— Sam Rourke (@samrourke_) 9 November 2017
What next for Aaron Tshibola after the former Reading midfielder returned to Aston Villa earlier than expected?
