Some West Ham United supporters want the Celtic boss as Slaven Bilic’s replacement.

Former Celtic striker Tony Watt has responded to West Ham United fans hoping to appoint Brendan Rodgers as manager.
Bilic’s sacking was finally confirmed on Monday morning, more than 36 hours after West Ham slipped into the bottom three of the Premier League.
And though it is widely expected that David Moyes will be the man who succeeds Bilic at the London Stadium, many West Ham fans have their eye on Rodgers instead, as reported by the website Talking Baws.

But Watt, a lifelong Celtic supporter, delivered the following blunt reply.
“I want a ballon d’or aswell but let’s be honest”, he wrote, tagging in his former Charlton Athletic teammate, Morgan Fox.
Rodgers led Celtic to the treble in his first season in charge at Parkhead, and remains unbeaten in 63 domestic matches.
And Watt, who is best remembered by the Bhoys’ supporters for scoring the winning goal against Barcelona in 2012, would surely love to be a part of the Ulsterman’s regime.

The 23-year-old, who was capped by Scotland last year, now plays for Belgian second tier side OH Leuven, who are managed by ex-Leicester City boss Nigel Pearson.
