Reported West Ham United target David Moyes wants to bring in Alan Irvine, who worked with him at Everton, it has been claimed.

It has been reported that West Ham are set to sack Slaven Bilic as their manager and are ready to replace him with Moyes.
The report has also claimed that the former Everton and Manchester United manager will hold talks with the Hammers in the next 48 hours.
The Times has reported that Moyes may bring with him former West Brom head coach Irvine with whom he worked at Everton.

“Moyes is understood to want Phil Neville as his assistant at the London Stadium, having worked with him at Everton and employed him as a first-team coach at Old Trafford,” states the report in The Times.
“However, the former defender’s preference is for a managerial job. Moyes may instead enlist Alan Irvine, the former West Bromwich Albion head coach, who was his assistant at Everton.”

Irvine has extensive experience working as a coach and manager, and the former Preston North End and Sheffield Wednesday boss should be welcomed at the London Stadium.
West Ham are in relegation battle at the moment, and although Moyes’ recent record at Sunderland and Real Sociedad is not great, the fans should note his massive experience in the Premier League.
Having someone like Irvine in his backroom team is only going to help Moyes do a good job at the London Stadium.
