The former Rangers midfielder is favourite to succeed Pedro Caixinha at Ibrox.

Chris Sutton is adamant the new Rangers manager will be Derek McInnes.
McInnes is favourite to succeed Pedro Caixinha at Ibrox, despite reports it could cost up to £1.5 million to prise him from Aberdeen.
The former Rangers midfielder has led the Dons to three straight second-place finishes, having won them the League Cup in 2013.
But Sutton told the official BT Sport Twitter account on Tuesday that McInnes is the man for the Ibrox job and Rangers have the money to make it happen.

When asked who he believed would be the new man at Rangers, the former Celtic striker replied: “I think Derek McInnes. I’m hearing that Rangers have the money and look, he would be the sensible option.
“He knows Scottish football inside out, he knows Rangers football club inside out and he’s done a terrific job at Aberdeen. I think he wants the job as well.”
Asked to clarify his use of the word ‘hearing’, Sutton reiterated: “I’m saying it will be Derek McInnes.
“It is absolutely the right move. Derek McInnes is the man for the Rangers job.”

Meanwhile, Caixinha’s agent has claimed that he and his client remain in talks with Rangers regarding a severance package.
The Portuguese coach, who still had more than two and a half years left on his contract at Ibrox, is said to be wanted by four clubs in Mexico’s Liga MX.
“Yes, there has been contact from Mexican clubs, but we cannot talk to anyone until we reach agreement with Rangers,” , Nuno Batista explained via the Daily Record. “We are still trying to finalise the details with them and that is our priority for now.”
