The Manchester United full-back could be a useful addition to the Everton squad.

Luke Shaw has really struggled to establish himself as a first-team regular at Old Trafford, since making his £27 million move to United from Southampton in the summer of 2014.
Whilst injuries have played a major part in his lack of game-time in Manchester, he has never really showcased the quality that he undoubtedly possesses when he has been given an opportunity, and it is unclear whether he has a future with Jose Mourinho’s side.
And with this in mind, the Toffees should consider making an approach for the left-back in January.

Leighton Baines will be 33 in December, and signing a long-term replacement for the experienced full-back will be of absolute paramount importance to Everton’s chances of success in the future.
Shaw is incredibly quick, has good positional sense for someone so young, is strong in the challenge, and possesses an impressive final delivery.
Whilst the 22-year-old has not showcased those attributes on a consistent enough basis over the past few years, he still possesses them, and could be a real coup for the Toffees, should they manage to sign him in January.

And with Daley Blind, Marcos Rojo, Matteo Darmian and Ashley Young all capable of operating in the left-back role, Mourinho might just be tempted into doing business, should Everton come knocking for Shaw.
