Could Ronald Koeman end up at Glasgow Rangers after his Everton sacking?

Pedro Caixinha’s spell at Rangers came to an abrupt end yesterday as the board sacked him after just six months in charge in Glasgow.

He departed with Rangers in fourth place in the Scottish Premiership, having made no discernible improvement upon Mark Warburton’s spell in charge

Eyes are immediately turning towards potential replacements, and one manager who was also fired this week has been named by fans as a potential successor.

Recently sacked Everton boss Ronald Koeman is being tipped by supporters as a potential successor for Caixinha.

Koeman is vastly more experienced, but also has a chequered record as a manager, disappointing at Everton but his Southampton record is looked at more favourably.

Whether the Dutchman is willing to go straight back into club football is another matter, with Tuttomercatoweb reporting he is being lined up for the Netherlands international job.
