Geronimo Rulli and Fernando Muslera are reportedly on the radar of Newcastle United for the January transfer window.

It has been reported by the British tabloid that Benitez wants to bring a top goalkeeper to Newcastle in January, and that the Spaniard has shortlisted two candidates.

It has also been reported that Newcastle scouts have sent the Spaniard rave reviews about Real Sociedad goalkeeper Geronimo Rulli and Galatasaray custodian Fernando Muslera.
According to The Sun, 25-year-old Rulli is rated at £15 million, while 31-year-old Muslera would cost around £8m.

Rulli is actually a former Manchester City player. The 25-year-old Argentine joined the Citizens from Deportivo Maldonado for £4million in July 2016, as reported by The Manchester Evening News, before being loaned out to Real Sociedad, who made the move permanent in January 2017.
As for Muslera, the Uruguay international is a hugely experienced goalkeeper who has been on the books of Turkish giants Galatasaray since 2011, having previously starred for Italian club Lazio.
