Do Leeds United fans have a right to be worried about his latest comments?

Leeds United fans have not taken kindly to something Liam Cooper said in a pre-match press conference today.
Speaking ahead of Saturday’s trip to Bristol City, the Leeds centre-back cited tiredness as a possible reason as to why the Whites are on a three-game losing streak.
He said: “I think we have maybe looked a little bit tired in the last few games but you are going to get those feelings in a season.

“We need to put it right and put it right quickly and we are very confident.”
Thomas Christiansen’s are only a quarter of the way through a Championship season which is only going to get tougher mentally and physically.

And supporters of the Elland Road club weren’t buying what Cooper had to say on the matter.
It is, in truth, a pretty tame excuse from Cooper, especially given that the 1-0 defeat by Reading last weekend was the first game since the international break finished.
United had two weeks to recover from back-to-back defeats by Cardiff and Sheffield Wednesday, though their performance against the Royals betrayed the idea that ‘tiredness’ was a prime factor.
