The Tottenham Hotspur youngster would be a useful addition to the Burnley squad.

Sean Dyche has performed miracles during his time in charge at Turf Moor, and this season so far has been no exception, with his side currently sitting comfortably in seventh position in the Premier League table, just two points adrift of the Champions League spots.

Dyche’s Burnley squad is one of the smallest in the top flight, however, and strengthening his options in January will surely be a necessity, if they are to maintain their superb start.

The Lancashire outfit are particularly short of numbers in the defensive department, and with this in mind, they should consider signing Spurs’ highly-rated youngster Kyle Walker-Peters on loan in January.

The 20-year-old is a right-back by trade, but can also operate in the left-back position – something that could prove to be crucial to the Clarets during what will be a long and arduous campaign ahead of them.

Walker-Peters possesses pace in abundance, and contributes just as much offensively as he does defensively. He is an accomplished tackler, and has impressive positional awareness for someone so young.

A loan move to Turf Moor would not only benefit Burnley, but would do the world of good to the 20-year-old as well, assisting with his development as a footballer, which would, in turn, be of great use to Tottenham.

And if Dyche manages to bring him to the club on loan in January, it could be an ideal transfer for all parties concerned.
