Nuno Espirito Santo has worked wonders during his time in charge at Molineux, with his team drawing plaudits for the wonderful brand of football that they have been playing.

Wolves currently sit comfortably top of the Championship table, two points clear of second placed Cardiff City, and are now 11/10 favourites to win the league with popular bookmakers SkyBET.

Nuno will surely be looking to bolster his options further still in January, however, in an effort to build a squad capable of maintaining their impressive run of form, and securing promotion back to the Premier League.

One particular area of the Portuguese's squad that needs attention is his defensive department, and with this in mind, he should consider making a loan approach for Reds defender Joe Gomez.

The 20-year-old joined Liverpool from Charlton Athletic in the summer of 2015, but has struggled to establish himself as a first-team regular at Anfield, making just 11 Premier League appearances since then.

The talented defender has so much to offer though, and after returning from a serious injury last season, it will be vital for him to play regularly, in order to continue his progress and development.

Gomez can play anywhere along the back-line, and that kind of versatility could prove to be crucial to Wolves, during what will be a long and arduous campaign ahead of them.

And if Nuno manages to bring him to Molineux, it could turn out to be a signing of real significance for the Black Country outfit.
