The Liverpool forward would be a useful addition to the West Bromwich Albion squad.

Tony Pulis has played his part in firmly establishing the Baggies as a mid-table Premier League club, although some sections of the Hawthorns are demanding a more expansive brand of football from their side, and further progress, rather than what they perceive as stagnation.
West Brom finished in 10th spot in the Premier League table last term, and currently find themselves in the same position, after a respectable return of two wins and four draws from their opening eight league outings.
The Black Country outfit will surely be looking to bolster their options during the January transfer window, however, and after their paltry return of just seven goals in eight games thus far, the addition of an established forward will surely feature highly on Pulis’ wish-list.

And with this in mind, the Baggies should consider a move for Reds front-man Danny Ings in January.
The 25-year-old joined Liverpool from Burnley on a free transfer in the summer of 2015, but has endured a torrid time on Merseyside, after suffering terrible luck with injuries, and making just three Premier League starts in the process.
Ings still possesses real quality, however, and given the opportunity of regular first-team action, he would surely be able to return to the levels that he hit on a consistent basis during his time with the Clarets.

The Englishman is renowned for making unselfish runs in behind the opposition’s defence into the channels, and that would make him the perfect strike partner for Jay Rodriguez, who is most dangerous when operating in and around the penalty area.
He is also an accomplished finisher – something that West Brom desperately need.
And if Pulis does manage to bring the Liverpool man to the Hawthorns in January, it could turn out to be a signing of real significance for the Baggies.
