According to football website All Nigeria Soccer, Italian giants Inter Milan and Juventus are closely monitoring the progress of Spurs youngster Timothy Eyoma.

The 17-year-old, who can play in either the right-back or centre-back positions, is highly regarded at Tottenham, and the north London outfit will be extremely reluctant to allow one of their bright young stars to leave.

Eyoma has impressed for the club’s under-18’s and under-23’s over the past year or so, and is developing into a fine player. He is wonderfully athletic, and possesses a powerful build – one that seems to be tailor made for the Premier League.

And All Nigeria Soccer claim that both Inter and Juve are seriously considering making an approach for the teenager, with unnamed German clubs also keeping an eye on his situation at Spurs.

Mauricio Pochettino has become renowned for giving talented youngsters the opportunity to shine at Tottenham, however, so he could be tempted to remain in north London, if guaranteed the chance to prove his worth.

Eyoma has already represented England at under-17 level, and undoubtedly has a bright future in the game…wherever that may be.
