Barnet striker Shaq Coulthirst praises Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane.
Kane is one of the best strikers in the Premier League and has been in stunning form for the past three or so seasons.
The 24-year-old has won the Premier League Golden Boot for the past two seasons and has been included in the 2017 Ballon d’Or shortlist.
The rise of the England international from a relative unknown player to one of the best strikers in the world has been phenomenal.
Kane went out on loan to Leicester City and Millwall among other clubs, but the striker did not make too much of an impression.
Barnet striker Coulthirst, though, has suggested that he knew that Kane was going to be a regular goalscorer following his breakthrough season in 2014-15.
The 22-year-old, who is now on the books of League Two club Barnet, started his club football career at Tottenham.
The former Peterborough United striker has claimed quite confidently that Kane will score goals even if he is deployed as a centre-back.
“Harry was a little bit older than me so going through the age groups, we didn’t have that much contact, but as I got older I played with him a few times,” Coulthirst told Sky Sports about Kane.
“He went on loan a few times, then as I got to 18 I started going on loan as well. So we had similar paths.
“People doubted him after the first season but everyone around him knew that he was always going to score goals.
“If you put him centre-back he would probably still score. It’s something that has inspired me.”
