The Premier League legend would have loved a spell at Celtic.

Speaking to The Celtic Bhoys website, Trevor Sinclair has said that he would have loved to play for Celtic during his career – and would have had social media been a thing back in the day.
The 44-year-old enjoyed a distinguished career South of the border with the likes of West Ham United and Manchester City and ended up with 12 England caps.

But the talented winger says he has been a Celtic supporter for the best part of 30 years due to his mother’s Irish heritage and admits he would like to have followed fellow England internationals Chris Sutton, Ian Wright and former West Ham team-mate John Hartson to Paradise during his playing days.
He told The Celtic Bhoys website when asked if the Hoops ever tried signing him: “I never heard of any interest from Celtic during my career but would have loved to have followed former team mates John Hartson, Ian Wright and from the England set up Chris Sutton at some stage in my career.

“I do actually think if social media would have existed when I was playing I’d have played for Celtic.”
Sinclair would’ve undoubtedly been a big success in Scotland based on his performances throughout a 14-year Premier League career, scoring 58 goals.
