Would former Watford boss Walter Mazzarri be a good managerial appointment for Everton?

Everton fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to speculation linking the club with Walter Mazzarri.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Everton are interested in appointing former Watford head coach Mazzarri as their new manager.

Ronald Koeman is in charge of the Toffees at the moment, but the performances and the results of the team so far this season have been disappointing.

It has been reported that Everton have already made contact with the former Napoli boss, who could travel to Liverpool to have talks with the Premier League club in the next few days.

The 56-year-old Italian was in charge of Watford in the English top flight during the 2016-17 campaign.

The former Napoli boss did a decent job at Vicarage Road last season, as the Hornets escaped the drop to the Championship.
