Leeds United have been playing well in the Championship so far this season.

Former Wolverhampton Wanderers and West Bromwich Albion striker Don Goodman has told Sky Sports that Leeds United have been the best team he has watched live in the Championship this season.

Goodman made the comments about Leeds while discussing the Whites’ 3-1 defeat to Cardiff City away from home at the Cardiff City Stadium in the Championship on Tuesday evening.

The Whites headed into the match in Wales on the back of a 3-2 victory over Ipswich Town at Elland Road in the league.

“Actually, I have to say that Leeds United are the best team I have seen live in the Championship this season,” Goodman told Sky Sports. “I saw them play against Nottingham Forest.”

Leeds’s recent form and performances have not been great, but there is no doubt that they have been the best team to watch so far this season.

The West Yorkshire outfit have looked brilliant going forward, and defensively as well they have looked good.

Thomas Christiansen’s side will return to action this afternoon when they take on Sheffield Wednesday away from home at the Hillsborough Stadium in the Championship and will be confident of picking up all three points from the encounter.
