The Tottenham Hotspur striker has begun the 2017/18 campaign in sensational form.

Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino spoke to reporters after his side’s impressive 3-0 win away at APOEL Nicosia in the Champions League last night, and joked about how his wife will be jealous of his love for star man Harry Kane, as quoted by popular football news website Football.London.

The 24-year-old hitman has been in sensational form for club and country this season, scoring 11 goals in 10 outings thus far, and has played a key role in Tottenham’s impressive start to their 2017/18 campaign, both domestically and abroad.

And Pochettino discussed his love for Kane, when speaking to reporters during his post-match press conference, as quoted by Football.London:

“Yes, now my wife is so jealous. And his wife too! No, I think it’s unbelievable. You know, it’s Harry Kane.”

The England international striker has scored 108 goals in 173 outings during his career with Spurs, and his rise to prominence has been as swift as it has been impressive.

And Tottenham will certainly need Kane to maintain his fine form for the duration of the season, if they are to enjoy a successful campaign on all fronts.

Next up for Kane and co is a trip to newly promoted Huddersfield Town in the early Premier League kick-off on Saturday.
