Tottenham Hotspur have won against Barnsley at the Wembley Stadium in London in the EFL Cup this evening.

Lord Sugar has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Tottenham Hotspur’s win against Barnsley this evening.

Tottenham have returned to winning ways with a narrow 1-0 victory over Barnsley at home in the EFL Cup.

England international midfielder Dele Alli’s goal in the 65th minute proved to be the difference between the Premier League club and the Championship outfit at the Wembley Stadium in London.

The result means that Mauricio Pochettino’s Spurs have reached the fourth round of the EFL Cup.

Former Spurs chairman Lord Sugar was following the game, and he has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to the final result.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at the Wembley Stadium in London on Saturday afternoon, hosts Tottenham had 56% of the possession, took 25 shots of which five were on target, and earned 10 corners, according to BBC Sport.

Tottenham will return to action on Saturday afternoon when they take on West Ham United at the London Stadium in the Premier League.
