Leeds United were reported last weekend to be eyeing a January swoop for striker Cyle Larin (The Sun 10/9 p58).

Larin is playing for Major League Soccer side Orlando City and is already their all-time leading goalscorer at 22-years-old.

The striker responded to Leeds' interest this weekend by scoring in a thrilling 3-3 draw against Atlanta United.

Larin, valued at £2 million according to The Sun, scored the goal to put Orland 3-2 up before they were pegged back, netting a powerful header.

The game was notable as it saw a MLS record attendance of 70,000 watch on, MLS Soccer reported.

Whether Larin can adapt from MLS to the English Championship is a big question, but it appears he is not intimidated by the prospect of playing in big stadiums to packed crowds.

Larin also provided an assist in the draw, while completing 100 per cent of his passes, and scored his goal past former Aston Villa and Middlesbrough goalkeeper Brad Guzan.

Leeds are well stocked at present with regard to options up front but Larin is an exciting prospect who has now scored 12 times in his last 23 games.

If he does want to earn a big move to England, then he is currently going the right way about it.
