The Scotsman has also cited reports in France as suggesting that Tottenham have met with Dembele’s representatives twice in the last week.
As reported by The Scottish Sun, the 21-year-old former Fulham striker is on the sidelines at the moment with a hamstring injury.
It has been reported that the Wales international left-back arrived in Glasgow on Wednesday evening and will undergo a medical on Thursday.
The 22-year-old will sign a loan deal with Pedro Caixinha’s side, with his current contract at Cardiff running out at the end of the season, according to the report.
