Tottenham are looking to beat Chelsea to Swansea’s Fernando Llorente.

The 32-year-old Spaniard was a top deadline day signing for the Blues, with manager Antonio Conte hoping to sing the striker he managed at Juventus.
Llorente scored 15 goals last year and was crucial in Swansea avoiding relegation.

Tottenham may have suffered one defeat to Chelsea this season, but this is a chance to get one over on their rivals.
Chelsea have had a tricky transfer window so far especially in terms of buying a striker, and Llorente would be a solid option.
He could also be a smart buy for Spurs although it would almost certainly see Vincent Janssen sold or loaned out before the 11pm deadline.

Tottenham fans are split on the idea of signing Llorente, but are intrigued by the possibility of hurting Chelsea’s transfer hopes.
One supporter even suggested this could be Tottenham’s chance to get revenge for having their 2013 deal for Willian hijacked by the Blues…
