Hull City appear to have turned to the Sheffield Wednesday midfielder as they look to replace the Swansea-bound Sam Clucas.

Hull are set to lose Sam Clucas to Swansea City for £15 million, leaving them with a void to fill in central midfield.
And it would appear as though Bannan, who has enjoyed a strong individual start to the campaign, has been identified as a potential replacement for his fellow left-footer.

Wednesday would be loathe to lose the Scotland international, who has established himself as a key player since his 2015 move to Hillsborough.
However, with Owls boss Carlos Carvalhal hindered by financial fair play regulations as he looks to add his squad, it is possible that Bannan could be sold if an offer proves too good to turn down.
That being said, Wednesday have successfully held on to all of their stellar names throughout Dejphon Chansiri’s ownership reign.

Hull, meanwhile, are said to be closing in on the signing of another left-footed midfielder, Arsenal’s Jon Toral.
At what price should Sheffield Wednesday agree to sell Bannan?
