HITC Sport understands QPR have bid rejected for Swedish international.
Queens Park Rangers have had a bid turned down for Swedish international Saman Ghoddos, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
Ostersund attacker Ghoddos has been earning rave reviews for this season and he was instrumental in Ostersund's shock Europa League qualifying win over Galatasaray with a goal and an assist in the 2-0 home victory.
Ghoddos has also caught the eye in the Swedish Allsvenskan this season this season with four goals and six assists in 14 games so far this term.
The 23-year-old has also netted seven goals in seven games in the Svenska Cupen to make it 11 goals in 21 games in all competitions.
Ghoddos' form has seen him break into the Sweden national team this year and he has won two caps, scoring one goal.
Ghoddos' performances have not gone unnoticed among clubs across Europe and several sides in England have been keeping tabs on the skilful forward.
The likes of Celtic and Ajax have been credited with an interest in Ghoddos in the past and QPR have now been alerted to Ghoddos' potential as Ian Holloway looks to bolster his side's attacking options at Loftus Road.
QPR saw their bid of €2million (£1.8m) rejected with Ostersund with the Swedish club loking for a fee in the region of €4million (£3.6m) if they are to sell their prize asset this summer.
